1. Hebrews was written to encourage the Lord’s people to remain faithful to Him. 2. Ch.13 contains a number of instructions that promote faithfulness. a. (vs.1-3) We must fulfill our responsibilities toward others. b. (vs.4) Faithfulness in marriage relations must be maintained.

I. MARRIAGE IS HONORABLE IN ALL
A. This literally means: "marriage is to be held in honor in all." B. Marriage is to be held in honor because God is the author of it (Genesis 2:18-24). C. In order for a marriage to be held in honor, both spouses must fulfill their God-given responsibilities. 1. Wives (Ephesians 5:22-24; Colossians 3:18; 1 Peter 3:1-6) 2. Husbands (Ephesians 5:25-28; Colossians 3:19; 1 Peter 3:7)
II. THE MARRIAGE BED IS TO BE UNDEFILED

Conclusion:
We learn from this passage that faithfulness to Christ includes faithfulness in marriage.
