1. By searching the Scriptures, as Jesus taught in John 5:39, we are able to grow in our knowledge of Him (2 Peter 3:18). 2. According to Galatians 4:4-5, God sent His Son "when the fullness of the time was come." 3. We learn from Hebrews 2:14-18 that it was necessary for Jesus to come in the flesh so He could experience the trials and temptations that we face. 4. In this lesson we are examining ten of Jesus' experiences recorded in the Gospel of John to help us understand that He is able to empathize with us (Hebrews 4:15).
Discussion:
I. JESUS EXPERIENCED "WEARINESS" (John 4:3-6)
II. JESUS EXPERIENCED "UNBELIEF FROM HIS FAMILY" (John 7:3-5)
III. JESUS EXPERIENCED "SARCASM" (John 8:48)
IV. JESUS EXPERIENCED "REJECTION":
A. by His disciples (John 6:66) B. by His countrymen (John 8:59).
V. JESUS EXPERIENCED "GRIEF" (John 11:32-36)
VI. JESUS EXPERIENCED "BETRAYAL" (John 18:2-5)

Conclusion:
1. The Gospels reveal many more of Jesus' experiences. 2. Let us allow His experiences to motivate us to practice the instructions given in Hebrews 4:14, 16.
