The Story of Jesus
Jesus' Betrayal and Arrest

(Lesson 11)

Introduction:
 

         1. To help us grow in the knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:18), we are studying "The Story of Jesus"
             as it is revealed in the Scriptures (John 5:39).
         2. In this lesson we are covering passages that relate to "the Lord's Gethsemane experience,
             betrayal, and arrest."
         3. Before Jesus was crucified,:
             a. He went through a difficult experience in Gethsemane
             b. He was betrayed by Judas
             c. He was arrested and taken into custody.
         4. The details of these events are recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
