Conclusion: 1. Great works such as these indicated that Elisha was a true prophet. 2. (Deuteronomy 18:18-19) Years earlier, Moses stated that a Prophet would come at a later time. 3. (Acts 3:12-26) Peter indicated that Jesus fulfilled this prophecy. 4. By His works Jesus proved He was that Prophet (John 3:2). a. He performed miracles involving food. 1) (Matthew 14:15-21) Jesus fed the 5,000. 2) (Matthew 15:32-38) Jesus fed the 4,000. b. He also cleansed lepers. 1) (Luke 5:12-13) Jesus cleansed a man of leprosy. 2) (Luke 17:11-14) Jesus cleansed 10 men of leprosy. 5. Today we must listen to Christ, the greatest Prophet of all (Hebrews 1:1-3).
