1. In this verse Jesus instructed His disciples to "remember Lot's wife." a. When Lot and his family left Sodom, they were given some instructions by the angels (Genesis 19:17). b. Lot's wife disobeyed, and she was punished (Genesis 19:26). c. The Lord wanted His followers: 1) to remember what she did as well as what happened to her 2) to avoid the mistake she made (see Luke 9:62). 2. The Scriptures teach us to remember many things. 3.
